Emily Louise Ovens

Designer maker Emily Ovens graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2017; where she studied Decorative Arts & specialised in metal.

Emily specialised in metal in her final year of study. She focussed on anodised aluminium a process that allowed her obsession with colour to be utilised.

Inspired by nature, each design is a symmetrical pattern created from botanical drawings.

First the drawing is hand printed onto the metal, coloured and dyed using permanent inks and sealed in deionised water.

Next the design is hand stamped and finished to a high standard.

Lastly each piece is paired with sterling silver findings.
