Gill Billington

After obtaining a degree in Pharmacy at London University and working as a pharmacist for many years, Gill finally realised her dream of working full-time on her photography. She became fascinated with cameras at an early age originally using film and slides, although she has now fully embraced digital photography and enjoys producing creative images from her photographs.

Flowing lines and shapes have always fascinated her, whether manufactured or found in nature. Gill has a passion for cars and loves the iconic designs from the classic old American cars to the smooth, curvaceous contours of European supercars.

She also enjoys walking in cities admiring both classical and modern architecture, as well as strolling by her local river watching the wildlife and photographing the area in all the different seasons. Garden visits are another pleasure, and she uses her macro lens to capture the stunning close up detail of flowers. Gill lives in Sawbridgeworth, and from her diverse portfolio she now sells her images not only locally but worldwide, including Europe, America, Canada and Australia via her website.
